Frequently Asked Questions
What is mAh?
What is mAh?
mAh is how much charge a battery holds. Think of it as the size of the fuel tank. A 5,000mAh power bank gives a phone 1 to 2 full charges. The SnapAmpSi NxG 8 is 20,000mAh, so most phones get 4 or more full charges before it needs a top up.
Why is High Wattage Important?
Why is High Wattage Important?
Watts tell you how fast a charger fills a battery, like water pressure in a hose. A basic 5W charger is slow. The SnapAmpSi NxG 8 puts out up to 65W, so a phone, tablet or laptop charges at full speed. A quick top up at smoko actually does something.
65W GaN Charger?
65W GaN Charger?
GaN (gallium nitride) chargers can push 65W without getting big or hot. A laptop needs at least 45W, ideally 65W. Most power banks stop at 18 to 22W, which won't charge a laptop. The SnapAmpSi NxG 8 does 65W, so it charges a phone, tablet or laptop at full speed.
Qi2 Magnetic Wireless Charging
Qi2 Magnetic Wireless Charging
Qi2 is the new wireless charging standard. It's Apple's MagSafe idea, opened up to other phones. Hold your phone near the pad, it clicks on magnetically and charges at up to 25W.
That's about twice as fast as older wireless chargers. Handy when your hands are dirty or you're in the ute.

Why the SnapAmpSi?
Why the SnapAmpSi?
On site you want a quick top up at smoko, and you want it to last until knock off. A big battery that charges slowly doesn't help, and neither does a fast charger that goes flat by lunch. The SnapAmpSi NxG 8 has both: 20,000mAh and 65W.
That's enough for tablets, laptops and newer phones. We're an Australian owned business.
